Schipperke is a Small Breed of dog that originated from Belgiam
in the early 16th century as a Riverboat watchdog. Probably developed from the same roots as the Belgiam Shepherd dogs. Their
Name is Flemish for "Little Shepherd" They are an unusual-looking little dog with a Foxy Face, Thick Coat
& Round Rump sometimes without a Tail & sometimes with a tail. They Stand Proud & Ready & think that they
are the biggest dog in the world. They are very Suspicious of Strangers & want to know what is going on around them at
all Times. Males stand about 11-13 Inches tall Weighing 18-20Lbs. Females stand 10-12 Inches tall, Weighing 12-15Lbs. They are Agile, Loyal, very keen Watchdogs. They thrive on athletic activites & interactive games as
they are very intelligent & need to keep their minds busy or they will become rambunctious & bored.
